What is the difference between the free and the paid version?

Free reads, paid writes. Free draws the plan and warns you; the full licence is the one that closes the positions and blocks the orders.

Does the licence expire?

No. It is one payment and a perpetual licence: what you buy stays yours. Maintenance is optional and only covers new versions and data.

Stancel measures the day’s loss against your limit on every tick, not every minute.

It closes whatever is open

IF YOU TRADE YOUR OWN

No rush. There is still a 2010 interface in the way.

MetaTrader 5 does its job, but it makes you do yours by hand: the lot size in a calculator, the exposure in another window, the day’s risk in your head. Stancel puts the three of them where you are already looking, and leaves the handrail up even when nobody is marking you.
