STANCEL · TERMS OF SALE
Terms of sale
INFORMATIVE TRANSLATION. The binding text is the Spanish one, «Condiciones de venta». This version exists so that an English-speaking reader can understand what they are buying before they buy it — if the two ever disagree, the Spanish version governs.
That is not a formality. Withdrawal rights, refunds and jurisdiction change with the buyer, so two sales texts with equal standing and nobody deciding which wins is the classic way a translation becomes worse than none.
Spanish TRLGDCU (RDL 1/2007), distance contracts with consumers.
1. Who sells to you
Payment is processed by an external payment gateway, acting as merchant of record: it is the legal seller to you, it issues the invoice and it settles whatever tax applies in your country. The provider (Eduardo Rodríguez) is the one who develops the program and grants you the licence.
The gateway's terms apply to the transaction; these apply to the product.
2. What you buy
A licence to use Stancel under the licence — not ownership of the program — with:
- one activation as standard, and a second on request that is granted automatically at a time
- Updates, data service and analyser improvements for 12 months from purchase
- Optional renewal of the service: 96 € a year. It keeps all three things: new versions, current data and whatever analysis capability each version brings. If you do not renew, you keep every paid feature and stay on the version you have
3. What happens when the service expires
The program does not switch off. Ever. When the service expires, the licence returns to the free tier and carries on working with that tier's features.
That is a property of the product, not a courtesy: there is no mechanism that deactivates an already-installed program.
4. Price and tax
Prices are shown in euros. The applicable tax is calculated and shown by the gateway according to your country, before you confirm.
5. Delivery
Immediate and electronic: once payment is confirmed you receive the download link and your licence key by email. If it has not arrived within 24 hours, write to hola@stancel.net.
6. Right of withdrawal — worth reading before you buy
As a consumer you have 14 calendar days to withdraw without giving reasons. The law provides an exception for digital content, and it applies here:
When you download the program or activate your licence you are asked for express consent for performance to begin immediately, and you acknowledge that by doing so you lose the right of withdrawal. It is an explicit, separate step: if you do not accept it, nothing is downloaded.
Until you download or activate, the right of withdrawal is still alive and an email to hola@stancel.net is enough.
7. Refunds outside the withdrawal period
If the program does not work as described, it gets fixed or the money comes back. Before anything else, please write: nearly everything that looks like a bug is resolved in one email, and what is not is a bug of ours worth knowing about.
No refunds for trading results. The program promises no profit and is not sold on that basis.
8. Warranty and liability
The statutory warranties for digital content apply. The limits of liability — including the limits of what the automatic protection can do — are in the licence §5 and §6, and form part of what you accept when you buy.
9. Complaints
Write to hola@stancel.net. You may also use the European online dispute resolution platform and the consumer bodies of your region.
