STANCEL · LICENCE
Licence
INFORMATIVE TRANSLATION. The binding text is the Spanish one, «Licencia». This version exists so that an English-speaking reader can understand what they are agreeing to — if the two ever disagree, the Spanish version governs.
1. The parties
Provider: Eduardo Rodríguez. User: whoever installs or uses the program. Installing it means accepting this licence.
2. What is granted
A personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to install and use Stancel on up to one activation as standard, and a second on request that is granted automatically of your own, at whatever tier your licence corresponds to.
3. The two tiers
| Stancel Free | Stancel | |
|---|---|---|
| See the account, the challenge, the positions and the risk | Yes | Yes |
| Draw and calculate the plan | Yes | Yes |
| Own candles, mosaic and generic indicators | Yes | Yes |
| Trade: send, close, partials, OCO, trailing | No | Yes |
| The guardian acting: cutting, blocking, arming | No — it only informs | Yes |
| Analyser, almanac, templates and alarms | No | Yes |
Free informs; it does not protect. It shows the limit and what is left, and it does not cut. The program says so permanently on screen while the licence is free, and that notice cannot be hidden.
When the service expires you do NOT lose the paid features: you keep them for good. What stops arriving is new versions, updated data and analyser improvements — you stay on the version you have, working in full. The program never switches off.
The 30-day trial does return to Free when it runs out, because there was never a purchase: it is the only route by which a tier goes down.
4. What you may not do
Resell, rent, sublicense or distribute the program; decompile or reverse engineer it except as the law mandatorily permits; remove authorship notices; or circumvent the licence control.
5. The limits of the protection — the section to read
Stancel can close positions and block orders from being sent, but that depends on conditions it does not control:
1. That the terminal is open and logged in. 2. That there is a connection to the broker. 3. That the broker accepts the order. 4. That the market has liquidity and a price — in a gap, the close may execute worse than the level requested. 5. That the computer is on and not suspended.
If any of those fails, the protection does not apply, or applies worse. Stancel reduces the likelihood and the size of a loss caused by carelessness or impulse. It does not remove it, and it is not sold as if it did.
6. No guarantee of results, and liability
The program does not guarantee profit, nor the absence of losses, nor passing any funding challenge, nor compliance with any funding firm's rules — those rules are set by each firm, can change without notice, and their interpretation is theirs.
Trading decisions are the user's, and so is the outcome.
The provider's liability is limited, so far as the law allows, to the amount paid for the licence in the last twelve months. None of this limits liability for wilful misconduct, gross negligence or personal injury, nor any rights that consumer legislation grants mandatorily.
7. Updates
No binary reaches your terminal unless you put it there.
The program does not update itself. New versions are downloaded and installed by hand. Data (calendar, reference tables) may be updated while the service is running.
8. Term and termination
Indefinite while it is complied with. On serious breach — above all §4 — the provider may terminate it, and the right to use the paid tier ends. The return to Free is preserved, except where the licence control has been tampered with.
9. Governing law
Spanish law, without prejudice to the mandatory jurisdiction rules in favour of consumers.
