If something looks wrong

I cannot see the strip

• Check it is actually on. Right-click the chart > Indicators List. If Stancel Tempo is not there, it is not on.
• Check the chart is not too short. The strip needs about 90 pixels at the top. In a very squashed window it may not fit.

The strip is there but items are missing

That is normal on a narrow chart. Tempo drops items in order, least important first, rather than cutting them in half. Widen the window and they come back.

No economic releases show up

Almost always the terminal, not Tempo:

1. Open View > Calendar. If it is empty there too, your terminal's calendar is empty or switched off by the broker. 2. If you have just installed MetaTrader, give it a few minutes: the calendar fills in the first time. 3. Remember that only releases for the two currencies of the pair in front of you are shown, and only medium and high impact ones.

Tempo does not go blank: it writes what is happening in the data row. If it says the calendar did not answer: it retries on its own, it is the terminal that is not responding, and Tempo will try again without you doing anything. If it says there are no events in the window, then there really are none.

The bands look shifted by an hour

Check the data row. If Tempo is warning that the London/New York offset is not the normal one, you are in one of the two or three weeks a year when Europe and the United States have not changed their clocks on the same day. The bands are right; it is the calendar that is odd, not the drawing. See Time.

If there is no warning and they still look wrong, check that the hour ruler at the top matches the hours on your candles. That ruler runs on broker time.

The shading does not reach the right edge

That is the margin MetaTrader leaves after the last candle. Remove it in Chart properties > Show > Chart shift. See The range and the shading.

The killzones start before the session opens

That is correct and deliberate. Both start an hour before their session, because the move that sets up the open happens before the open. See Sessions.

The colour I set is not applied

Check you have not left it on None. That value means "use the palette's", and it is the only thing MetaTrader's picker offers as empty.

It feels slow

It should not: Tempo redraws little and computes less. Try turning InpVerSombreado off — it is the only thing that touches every visible candle. If that changes nothing, the weight is coming from somewhere else.

Still not working

Write to hola@stancel.net telling us which broker you use, which version of Tempo the end of the data row shows, and a screenshot of the chart. That solves almost everything first time.
