It is free, and it will stay free
Stancel Tempo has no paid version. It is not a demo, it is not cut down, and there are no features hidden behind a payment. What you download is the whole product.
There is no licence, no registration, nothing to activate
Tempo checks nothing at startup. No key, no registration, no trial period, nothing that expires. You copy it, drag it onto a chart and it works — today and in five years.
Worth saying plainly, because the paid product from this house — Stancel — does carry a key, and it would be reasonable to assume the free one carries a cut-down version of the same thing. It does not. There is nothing you can get wrong when installing it.
The only drawback is ours, not yours: MetaTrader does not tell us who installs it, so if we release a version with something new in it we have no way of telling you. If you want to hear about it, the only way is to leave us an email on the website — and that is voluntary; it changes nothing about what the indicator does.
What we do not collect
We do not see your account, your balance or your trades. The indicator does not connect to the internet and has nowhere to send anything even if it wanted to.
If you do leave us your email, it is to tell you about Tempo and Stancel releases. No weekly newsletter, no offers, and nothing you did not ask for. Our privacy policy says so in as many words, and you can ask us for it at the address below.
Updates
If you have it from the MQL5 Market, MetaTrader tells you when we upload a new version and updates it from inside the terminal.
If you have it from the website, download it again and copy the .ex5 over the one you have. The website copy usually goes out the day it is ready; the Market one waits for MetaQuotes to review it, which takes its days.
To find out which one you are running, look at the end of the strip's data row: the version is written there.
What is coming
A short, believable path. Every version is free, like the first. The same numbers you will see on the Tempo page:
- 1.100 — Alerts. A configurable warning X minutes before a release, at the session open and close, and when the range breaks.
- 1.200 — Sessions your way. Configurable hours and per-chart saved profiles.
- 1.300 — The surprise in a release. Actual against forecast, on the strip itself. The terminal's calendar already knows how to work it out.
- 1.400 — History. How this pair has behaved in this session over recent weeks.
Not one of them promises signals, entries or profit. Same line as everything else here: we tell you what the tool does, not what you would like to happen.

And what Tempo does not promise
It will not make you money. It is a map of the day: it tells you where you are and what is coming. What you do with that is still yours, and anyone selling you otherwise is selling you something else.
