STANCEL MANUAL 1.020
Stancel Manual
Everything the desk does, explained for the person trading it — not the person who coded it. This manual documents version 1.020; if your panel's title says something else, check the installation section.
What Stancel isStancel is a desk for MetaTrader 5 built for one specific situation: you're in the middle of a funded-trader challenge and you can't afford a bad day.
InstallingStancel installs by copying files. There is no installer, you don't need administrator rights, and it never touches the Windows registry.
Your licenceStancel works with no licence from the very first second, in the free version: it reads and measures everything, and it doesn't open new positions.
First stepsThere are two figures you need to set before anything else. Without them Stancel runs, looks fine and seems to be watching — but it isn't, because it doesn't know what to measure against.
The guard: what actually protects youThis is the important section of the manual. Everything else about Stancel can be replaced with patience and a calculator; this can't, because it acts on the day you're not watching.
The panel and its seven tabsThe desk lives inside the MetaTrader chart, with no separate windows. At the top there's a strip of tabs, and each one holds one or more modules.
The analyser: numbers, not adviceThis is not an oracle and it is not a bot. It does not predict and it does not recommend.
Trading: from the plan to the orderStancel doesn't trade on its own. Every order is sent by you, and it takes three deliberate gestures for one to go out.
Position management: the rules you setOnce the position you decided on is open, Stancel can apply the management rules you give it: move the stop to breakeven, trail it, close in pieces and cancel what's left over.
Telegram alertsStancel can alert your phone about what's happening on the account, send you the panel as a photo, and let you reduce risk from your phone.
SettingsEverything is configured in the SETTINGS tab, spread across nine groups.
Keyboard shortcutsEleven keys to move around the panel and govern the plan without taking your mouse off the chart — and none that can send an order.
If something goes wrongOrdered by what you see, not by what it is.
